This event is open to current GBYR Members, Associate Members and their guests.

If you will be participating in the skeet shooting, please let us know to reserve you a shooter spot. We only have a limited number of shooter spots, so please reserve your spot NOW!

Shooters will need to provide their own guns, ammo, hearing and eye protection.

Don’t own a gun, or have never shot skeet before? No problem! Email Jimmy Entrekin (jimmyentrekin@gmail.com) or Haley Lucido (hmlucido@gmail.com) so we can help make arrangements for you to shoot.

This is a fun event for anyone who wants to participate, so novice shooters welcome! The staff at Southern Skeet and Trap are willing to teach you if you’ve never shot skeet before.

Judge Donaldson received a B.S. degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1981 and graduated cum laude from the Cumberland School of Law in 1984. Judge Donaldson practiced law for over 18 years and was elected to the State Bar Commission and State Bar Disciplinary Commission. From 2003-2013, he was a circuit judge for the Sixth Judicial Circuit.

Adam currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for Secretary of State Beth Chapman. In this position Adam has played a key role in the efforts to make state government more accessible and open to all citizens. He has led the office’s increases in technology by providing more services online and streamlining the office; saving taxpayers time and money. Adam also works closely with the Alabama Legislature on advancing the Secretary of State’s legislative agenda.

Prior to his work with the Secretary of State’s Office, Adam worked in the State Auditor’s Office. As a senior aide in the Auditor’s Office, Adam was able to put his conservative values to use by assisting the then-State Auditor Beth Chapman in appointing qualified & conservative members of the Boards of Registrars throughout the state. He also worked to increase the technological aspects of the office by providing more information to citizens and creating a more accessible & user-friendly website that provided audit reports, loss reports and activity of the office.

Additionally, Adam currently serves as District 3 Chair for the YRFA and is running for reelection to this position at the upcoming state convention.
